"I haven`t seen Bonner Straße very recently, but it was mercifully not

destroyed in the war, and looked probably much as it did in Peter' s

childhood when I was last there some years ago. I'm not sure whether

Peter was born there or in the hospital(May 17, 1931), but he lived there

until my parents emigrated in 1938." - Sarah Haffner, from last fall.
