My interest in Peter Schmidt began as a 15 year old, upon buying an import copy of Brian Eno's LP "Taking Tiger Mountain(By Strategy)", in 1975. After acquiring the watercolor painting "Portrait of Eno with Allusions" in 2007, my further curiosity about Peter was sparked. With the information gathered through his friends, family and students, the idea of establishing a permanent record of Peter Schmidt's artistic accomplishments seemed a logical next step. I'm an artist, and builder of high end residences in New York City. I have a modest art collection which includes works by Peter Schmidt, Marcel Duchamp, Tom Phillips, Dion Yannatos, Neil Kaplan and Abe Ajay(my teacher). I live with my husband, Scott and our cats, Toby and P. Nutt in New York City's Gramercy Park.
