John Emr - Curator: New York City, New York, United States; This blog is intended to supplement and support the website, www.PeterSchmidtWeb.com with current updates, additions and discoveries. The mission of this endeavor seeks to establish a lasting legacy of the English multimedia artist Peter Schmidt (1931-1980). It has been with the support of his friends, family, students and colleagues, that this effort has been possible. My modest art collection includes works by Schmidt, Marcel Duchamp, Tom Phillips, Brian Eno, Henry Moore, Andy Warhol, Peter Max, Robert Gwathmey, Alexander Calder, Harry Bertoia, Eggert Pétursson, Pablo Picasso, Dion Yannatos, Neil Kaplan and Abe Ajay(my teacher). I live with my husband Scott and our cats, Toby and Hansjorg Mayer in New York City's Gramercy Park area.
